Job Summary
Lead the Compounding Department by performing, assigning, and overseeing bulk product manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality standards. Review SAP and manufacturing instruction packets to identify and resolve errors, while conducting investigations into batching issues, incidents, and deviations to implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operations, recommend equipment upgrades, and verify that all employees adhere to SOPs, work instructions, and FDA GMPs. Enforce safety policies, assist in safety committee investigations, and ensure proper training completion across the team. This role requires a minimum of five years in chemical processing with strong leadership skills, available for immediate start in July 2026 at Groveport, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with proficiency in math and reading comprehension
- Minimum of five years compounding experience in chemical processing/manufacturing environment
- Ability to promote and participate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Ability to adapt to rotating assignments with a positive attitude and results
- Strong problem solving, analytical methods and technical skills
- Good understanding of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations (GMP's) and OSHA safety requirements
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Strong communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, team building and organizational skills
- Must be able to understand and complete procedure documents in accordance with SOPs and WIs
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time efficiently and effectively
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to use measuring and testing devices
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Compounding/processing, pre-weigh or sanitization experience
- SAP experience
- Previous leadership experience
