Job Summary
Lead Automation Design Engineer responsible for the design and execution of automation projects in mechanical/electronics/electrical/software domains. Oversees a team of Automation Design Engineers to ensure project requirements, specifications, planning, design and installation are achieved within budget and schedule. Leads reviews of design drawings, manuals, and ensures manufacturability and integration of specifications into automation equipment. Collaborates with Project Manager/Engineer to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality goals; provides guidance on design and installation, and logs engineering hours into JP2. Requires expert knowledge across automation design and EMS industries and a B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering, with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8-10 years of working experiences in automation equipment design and installation
- Expert knowledge in mechanical/electronics/electrical/software application engineering
- Expert knowledge in the EMS industries
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
