Job Summary
Plan weekly programming for K-5th youth, guiding structured learning and social-emotional development through age-appropriate activities. Maintain a secure, inclusive environment by supervising children during meals, play, and transitions while using positive reinforcement to support behavior and conflict resolution. Manage Club staff by conducting weekly reviews, performance planning, and one-on-one meetings, while assisting with hiring, interviewing, and disciplining employees. Build daily reports, track programming budgets, and organize a clean, orderly classroom with readily available resources. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure cohesive program delivery and maintain open communication with parents regarding progress and concerns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with youth
- Strong communication skills

- Passion for working with young children
- Management/Supervisory Experience
- Commitment to working five days a week during the school year and during the summer
- Ability to understand, implement, and demonstrate principles of behavior management and other youth treatment modalities
- Ability to provide leadership, on-the-spot and reflective feedback, and supervision to assigned employees
- Must be of the mental and physical capacity to observe, interact, and communicate with youth, staff, volunteers, parents etc.
- Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time throughout a shift
- Ability to operate various types of general office equipment including PC, telephone, copier, etc.
