Job Summary
Lead a mixed-age young toddler classroom in a Montessori environment, guiding development through observation, an orderly prepared environment, and child-directed exploration. Deliver lessons in practical life skills, language development, and grace and courtesy; support independence and self-regulation; build warm relationships with children and families; collaborate with parents to support each child’s growth; lead classroom routines and work with the team to maintain a respectful, joyful community. Our role includes pursuing Montessori certification via sponsored training and ongoing professional development, with opportunities for career growth and leadership within Guidepost Montessori.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a child related field)
- Required ECE or Child Development credits
- Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification through our Prepared Montessorian Institute, or a previously earned Montessori diploma
