Job Summary
Lead Works Coordinator provides leadership across the coordination function, overseeing call-taking, dispatching and resource coordination for the Civil Maintenance team. You will manage end-to-end job management through a specialised systems environment, ensure timely escalation of risks, monitor real-time job progress to meet contract KPIs, and mentor two Works Coordinators and administrative staff. The role focuses on coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, critical spares, and ensuring efficient dispatch, data accuracy, and timely operational reporting while maintaining safety and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous water industry experience (desirable)
- Working knowledge of dispatch, works scheduling and/or planning relating software
- Working knowledge of Asset Management Software (Maximo desirable)
- Excellent provision of customer service
- Professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner
- Well-developed organisational and administration skills
- High level of attention to detail
