Job Summary
Supervise the 8-unit web press crew while ensuring product quality and maximizing productivity. Manage daily operations to maintain high-speed delivery output in a standing position for full shifts. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and handle materials up to 50 lbs frequently. Work mandatory overtime as needed during Wednesday through Saturday shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role supports Sheridan's nation-leading print and publishing services, covering magazines, catalogs, and scientific journals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- 4 years of total printing experience
- 3 years of related printing experience or equipment experience
- Mechanical ability
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform work productively and safely
- Reliability and good attendance
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Ability to work frequently in a standing position
