Job Summary
Guide team members through design and implementation while solving client problems and interpreting customer requirements. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain existing software applications, providing technical assistance and product education to clients. Liaise with other technical experts and contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle, from assessing custom features to deploying proof-of-concept projects. Follow industry best practices to address client needs with current features and products. This hybrid role requires a minimum of two days a week in-person at an assigned TU office location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field
- Software development experience in PHP or similar language (10+ years)
- Expert knowledge of object oriented programming
- Expert knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong understanding of version control tools, such as Subversion or Git
- Consultative skills in order to understand the technical needs of the client, the ability to determine any problems or unmet needs the client may face and an aptitude for solving complex problems
- Ability to communicate professionally in written responses with extreme detail to customer requirements in support of solution development and delivery

Desired Qualifications
- Linux command line and server management experience is a plus
- Agile/Scrum experience is a plus
