Job Summary
Lead and oversee water mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion, ensuring quality and efficiency. Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment, while setting up and monitoring dehumidifiers, air movers, and other drying tools on job sites. Document progress with photos, moisture readings, and detailed daily reports, and communicate professionally with property owners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the restoration process. Train, mentor, and supervise junior technicians on proper mitigation techniques and safety protocols, identifying and escalating potential mold, sewage, or structural concerns to management. Requires 2+ years of hands-on experience, IICRC WRT certification, and availability for on-call and emergency shifts including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, crawling, and working in confined spaces
- Availability for on-call and emergency response shifts, including nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on water mitigation or restoration experience preferred
- IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with drying equipment, moisture meters, and thermal imaging tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew on multiple job sites
- Excellent communication and customer service skills in high-stress situations
