Job Summary
Stage and sort products for loading, loads and unloads trailers, and opens and closes dock doors. Execute process visibility for the Operations Supervisor, maintain a clean and safe work area, and lead safety and well-being efforts on the assigned shift. Sort and place parts in racks, stack cardboard boxes and pallets, and move materials within the warehouse. Package or kit finished product for shipping, electronically scan products using a warehouse management system, and perform quality control. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport stored items, assemble product containers, and maintain inventory records. Complete daily logs and communicate with associates from other shifts. Work Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 9:12:30am at $26.00/hr plus a $1.00 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Expert in warehouse functions
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
