Job Summary
Stage and sort products for loading, loads and unloads trailers, and moves materials within the warehouse using forklifts and pallet jacks. Opens and closes dock doors, stacks cardboard boxes and pallets, and packages finished product for shipping via shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling. Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system, maintain inventory records, and complete daily logs while ensuring quality control and identifying damaged goods. Leads and complies with safety efforts, maintains a clean work area, and communicates with associates from other shifts. Works Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 9:00pm at Penske Logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Expert in warehouse functions
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
