Job Summary
Lead, Warehouse Team responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and the overall condition of the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas. Manage loading and manifesting of delivery trucks, review freight discrepancies, perform daily cycle counts, process orders and returns in the Eclipse/dataWorks environment, and coordinate team scheduling. Role requires training and coaching team members, supervising warehouse associates and drivers, ensuring safe operations, and communicating professionally with customers and co-workers. Must operate or supervise use of lifting machinery (reach trucks, forklifts), be proficient with RF scanners and MS Office/data systems, and sustain high organization and prioritization to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading or coordinating warehouse teams and driving performance improvements
- Proficiency with RF scanners and cycle counts
- Experience operating lifting machinery (reach trucks, forklifts)
- Ability to manage a staff of warehouse associates and drivers
- Strong computer skills including MS Suite; familiarity with data systems (dataWorks or similar) and ability to input/retrieve data
- Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication; professional interaction with customers and co-workers
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated judgment and problem-solving in warehouse operations
- Lead by example and provide guidance to team members
- Knowledge of routing and local carrier deliveries
- Commitment to safe work environment and adherence to policies
