Job Summary
Monitor warehouse equipment operations, troubleshoot process events, and audit clerks to ensure quality inspections and inbound paperwork compliance. Complete daily and weekly tasks using Standard Operating Procedures, fill in for absent Shipping/Receiving Clerks or Supervisors, and ensure daily PIT inspections occur correctly. Lead by example to drive Plant and Safety policies, mentor team members on safety and productivity, and communicate process changes through shift handovers and daily meetings. Effectively escalate safety, equipment, and personnel issues for immediate resolution while executing assigned team trainings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in leadership roles in warehouse environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Forklift experience
- Demonstrated and effective use of computer skills such as MS office, Teams and email
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including (but not limited to) bump cap, safety steel toe shoes, and safety glasses
- Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/move 8-12 hours per day
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs/ladders throughout shift
- Ability to work outdoors occasionally, exposed to outside conditions for short periods of time
- Ability to work around moving vehicles/robots
- Excellent hand/eye coordination including manual dexterity
- Must adhere to attendance and absenteeism policy
