Job Summary
Train warehouse associates on duties, equipment safety, and SOPs while observing performance to correct behaviors. Execute order filling, receiving, stocking, and returns using RF devices, forklifts, and reach trucks. Provide tactical direction on daily workloads, coordinate manpower for vacations, and manage inventory levels. Assist in shipping, emergency orders, and general deliveries while utilizing computer systems for reporting. Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety, DEA regulations, and state policies. Perform physical inventory and carry out assigned duties with minimal guidance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand the English language to compare and read product descriptions, names and shelf labels
- Must possess basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary
- Must be able to participate in physical inventory
- Must have proficiency to operate reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
- Basic computer knowledge preferred
- Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries
- Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions
- Have a good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance
