Job Summary
Lead Warehouse Associate on 2nd shift responsible for training, coaching, and supervising the warehouse team. Ensure safe and efficient loading/unloading of freight from trailers or ocean containers, maintain materials flow, and contribute to SOP adherence. Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, perform palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding; prepare outbound loads, verify Bills of Lading, and stage cargo safely. Partner with supervisory team to implement SOPs, utilize WMS (training and troubleshooting), and drive efficiency improvements. Cross-functional duties include receiving, loading, picking, shipping, and completion of weekly bond checks; execute Dock-to-Stock procedures, manage bonded import freight, and support new process changes. Requires reliable, detail-oriented, safety-minded leadership with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Regular duties include maintaining cleanliness and quality standards per SOPs and customer requirements; bilingual capabilities (Spanish) and strong communication are valued. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum 2 years of previous warehouse operations experience
- Certified forklift operator
- Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer
- Ability to work flexible hours and days
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders
