Job Summary
Lead VPK Teacher role responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring teachers; managing a safe, nurturing classroom; implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers; creating a positive environment that blends play and learning; maintaining proactive parent communication via apps and discussions; supporting center enrollment and engagement goals; building strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning community.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate degree, CDA, or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
