Job Summary
Lead visual merchandising and display by partnering with management to map floorset timelines, execute seasonal strategy, and maintain daily routines for markdowns, promotions, and replenishment. Collaborate on adaptations for store layouts, analyze reporting to improve profitability, and communicate inventory needs to maximize sell-through. Coach the visual team on standards, facilitate training, and assess talent while modeling genuine customer interest. Maintain supply organization and ensure effective payroll utilization. Perform projects as directed and adhere to all safety and company policies. Full-time role with competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $22.00.
Required Qualifications
- Effective communication, organization and leadership skills
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples
- Ability to be active, standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and lifting for extended periods of time
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts during the week
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience in home related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred
- specialty retail preferred
