Job Summary
Manage technician and doctor workflow using Smart Flow and ensure the Cornerstone schedule is accurate and up to date. Train all technicians to meet standards of care, including medical protocols, equipment use, and patient care procedures. Perform lead self-evaluations presented monthly to the Practice Manager and assume the Manager on Duty role as needed, including weekends and after-hours. Work with the lead receptionist to ensure appropriate scheduling while maintaining consistent knowledge of medical protocols and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician
- At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical protocols
- Strong understanding of patient care
- Strong understanding of hospital operations
- Reliability
- Team-oriented attitude
- Open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using veterinary management software (e.g., SmartFlow, Cornerstone)
