Job Summary
Lead Veterinary Technician to support the medical team, oversee daily technician workflows, and mentor staff. Responsibilities include providing high-quality nursing care (anesthesia monitoring, radiology, laboratory procedures, treatment administration), assisting veterinarians with examinations and surgery, maintaining accurate medical records and hospital protocols, ensuring a safe and organized treatment/surgical environment, serving as a clinical leader for technicians and assistants, training onboarding new team members, coordinating daily scheduling and case flow, promoting a collaborative team culture, supporting performance coaching, monitoring inventory, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and communicating clearly with clients about treatments, estimates, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Lead Veterinary Technician or in a senior/mentoring technician role
- Strong clinical skills in anesthesia, surgery assistance, diagnostics, and patient care
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high medical standards
