Job Summary

Guide the veterinary team and ensure high standards of clinical care through coaching, mentoring, and embedding Animal Trust values. Evaluate clinic KPIs and P&L to drive optimal performance and success. Work closely with the Practice Manager and Lead Nurse to manage day-to-day operations across two theatre suites, dental services, and separate wards for dogs and cats. Lead staff meetings and clinical governance sessions while assessing business metrics. This 40-hour, four-day week role includes two weekends off and offers a varied caseload of soft tissue and orthopaedic cases within a non-profit organization dedicated to affordable pet care.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess a strong clinical skillset
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both with clients and the veterinary team
  • Hold or be eager to obtain a VetGDP qualification
  • Have experience in performing 1-2-1 meetings and conducting performance management
  • Be confident in leading staff meetings and clinical governance meetings
  • 40 hours over a 4 day week
  • 2:9 Weekends
