Job Summary
Guide the veterinary team at the 24/7 Hospital in Ellesmere Port by coaching and mentoring staff to ensure high clinical standards and embed Animal Trust Values. Evaluate clinic KPIs and P&L with the Practice Manager and Lead Nurse to drive optimal performance and operational success. Lead staff meetings, clinical governance discussions, and performance management sessions while maintaining a caring working environment. Work a 40-hour week over four days with a 2:9 weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a strong clinical skillset
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both with clients and the veterinary team
- Hold or be eager to obtain a VetGDP qualification
- Have experience in performing 1-2-1 meetings and conducting performance management
- Be confident in leading staff meetings and clinical governance meetings
- 40 hours over a 4 day week
- 2:9 Weekends
