Job Summary
Lead and mentor associate veterinarians through regular performance discussions and coaching on individual development goals. Set the standard for clinical quality by practicing medicine alongside your team while achieving personal production targets. Partner with the Practice Manager to develop the annual operating plan, manage financial performance toward EBITDA goals, and ensure compliance with medical and DEA regulations. Drive hospital improvement by leading monthly doctor meetings on best practices and supervising externship and mentorship programs. Serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement at schools and local events.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- valid state license in good standing
- minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience

- ability to build strong, collaborative relationships
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- An understanding of (or willingness to learn) the financial and operating management of a hospital
- Proficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
