Job Summary
Lead and mentor associate veterinarians through regular performance discussions, coaching on individual development goals, and fostering a collaborative team culture. Set the standard for clinical quality by practicing medicine yourself while driving hospital performance through annual operating plans, financial management, and DEA compliance. Lead monthly doctor meetings to discuss best practices, supervise externship programs, and serve as an ambassador for community engagement at schools and local events. Manage a diverse case load spanning wellness, advanced diagnostics, urgent care, and surgical procedures for dogs, cats, and exotic animals.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- valid state license in good standing
- minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience

- ability to build strong, collaborative relationships
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- understanding of (or willingness to learn) the financial and operating management of a hospital
- Proficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
