Job Summary
Mentor and develop associate veterinarians through regular performance discussions and coaching on individual development goals. Lead monthly doctor meetings to discuss best practices, new services, and medical standards while supervising externship and mentorship programs. Set the standard for clinical quality by practicing as an associate veterinarian and achieving personal production goals. Partner with the Practice Manager to build the annual operating plan, manage hospital financial performance toward EBITDA targets, and ensure compliance with medical and DEA regulations. Serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement at schools, universities, and local events.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- valid state license in good standing
- minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- understanding of the financial and operating management of a hospital
- willingness to learn the financial and operating management of a hospital
- Proficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
