Job Summary
Lead and mentor associate veterinarians through regular performance discussions and coaching on individual development goals while practicing as an associate veterinarian to model medical excellence. Partner with the Practice Manager to build team engagement, develop the annual operating plan, manage hospital financial performance toward EBITDA goals, and ensure compliance with medical and DEA regulations. Drive continuous improvement by leading monthly doctor meetings on best practices, supervising externship programs, and championing recruitment as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- valid state license in good standing
- minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- understanding of the financial and operating management of a hospital
- willingness to learn the financial and operating management of a hospital
- Proficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
