Job Summary
Lead Vascular Sonographer responsible for performing advanced non-invasive imaging procedures in Vascular Laboratories, providing quality assurance and preliminary reporting, and mentoring/supervising more junior sonographers. Duties include coordinating and prioritizing patient scheduling, proper billing and documentation in EPIC, adhering to IAC/SVU standards, and maintaining equipment and department policy compliance. Requires RVT or RVS certification, BLS within 30 days of hire, and eight years of vascular sonography experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) through ARDMS OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date
- Eight (8) years of vascular sonography experience
