Job Summary
Lead Value Engineer for Consumer Packaged Goods at Celonis, bridging technical process mining with strategic business outcomes. You will act as the go-to execution expert within the CPG go-to-market organization, driving end-to-end value journeys across departments (e.g., Demand Planning, TPM, Logistics, D2C) and collaborating with Sales, Services, and Partners. Responsibilities include translating client strategy into operational value, architecting cross-functional Celonis solutions, building robust, data-backed business cases to articulate financial and operational impact to senior management, winning expansion opportunities, guiding pilots and implementations, coordinating hand-offs across Order-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, and Plan-to-Produce, leading value workshops, codifying best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and providing product feedback to enhance the platform for the CPG vertical. Must be adept at managing the customer lifecycle, driving adoption and renewal, and communicating value to C-level executives. The role requires deep domain expertise in CPG, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of leveraging data and process insights to realize measurable business outcomes; a degree in relevant engineering/management fields is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations
- Degree in Industrial/Business Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Informatics, Mathematics, or similar
- Deep industry/domain knowledge in CPG value chain (Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics, Trade Promotions, or Retail Operations)
- Experience landing new accounts, expanding footprint, and driving long-term value
- Strong ability to present to senior stakeholders and communicate value to non-technical audiences
- Technical fluency with business software/SaaS (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce CG Cloud, SAP IBP); SQL or Python a plus
Desired Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations
- CPG/FMCG industry knowledge
- Management Consulting or Sales Engineering experience
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience building business cases and guiding C-level discussions
- Proficiency with data visualization, SQL, or Python (strong plus)
- Experience landing new accounts, expanding footprint, and driving value
