Job Summary

Lead UX Researcher to establish processes and best practices for User Research, collaborating with Design, Content, Product, and Engineering to drive customer-centered product development. You will conduct end-to-end qualitative research (field studies, interviews, diary studies, usability testing, ethnography, workshops), recruit participants, design methodologies, produce compelling deliverables, and mentor designers in research practices. You will translate complex technical and business requirements into research insights, advocate for the customer, set up tooling and operational processes, and drive scalable recruitment with privacy and legal considerations. The role requires hands-on experience in a B2C product environment, a broad toolkit of exploratory and evaluative methods, experience in delivering end-to-end studies, stakeholder communication, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience as a UX Researcher in a B2C product environment
  • Experience in exploratory and evaluative qualitative research methods in product/service development
  • Designing and executing user research studies from conception to completion
  • Understanding of UX best practices and defining best practices for others
  • Passionate about customer knowledge and championing user needs
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate insights to stakeholders across product areas and seniority levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience in establishing scalable participant recruitment strategies and managing privacy/legal requirements (consent forms)
  • Experience with full-service research agencies and participant recruitment agencies
  • Proficiency with research tools such as User Testing, Maze and Optimal Workshop
  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology or related fields or equivalent experience
  • B2B experience
