Job Summary
Lead UX Designer responsible for defining and stewarding the UX vision and strategy for flooranddecor.com and related digital experiences. Own and develop the UX team, shape the design system and processes, conduct research program across product org, and present strategies to VP/Director stakeholders. Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Technology, and Marketing to set priorities early, ensure accessibility and consistency across touchpoints, translate business problems into UX strategies, guide design handoffs to engineering, participate in UAT, and recruit/develop design talent. Must bring senior-level leadership, strong stakeholder influence, and a track record of delivering measurable UX impact in consumer-facing, multi-channel, e-commerce environments.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of UX design experience with consumer-facing digital products, including e-commerce
- 3+ years of user research experience (qualitative and quantitative)
- Experience leading or managing UX designers (hiring, mentoring, performance development)
- Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional product teams
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience owning a design system or component library at scale
- Experience defining and tracking UX OKRs and reporting impact to leadership
