Job Summary
Lead UX Designer responsible for designing and prototyping user interfaces, conducting user research, shaping information architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, accessible product experiences. Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes, ensure alignment with brand guidelines, and contribute to the overall product and design strategy. Requires 7+ years of experience in interaction/product design, strong portfolio, proficiency with Figma/ FigJam/ Lovable, and the ability to communicate design rationale to partners up to the C-suite. Roles include mentorship of junior designers, staying current with industry trends, and driving design decisions with engineering and product stakeholders. This position is based in Austin or Dallas, TX, with an on-site requirement (minimum 5 days/week). Office presence is required; no relocation is offered.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in interaction or product design
- strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design and user-centered thinking
- proficiency with design tools including Figma, FigJam, and Lovable
- experience partnering with engineers to deliver product features and releases
- excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and usability best practices
- experience leading collaborative design sessions with diverse stakeholders
- ability to set design direction and advocate for design decisions
