Job Summary
Perform ultrasound procedures on assigned patients according to department policies and radiological standards, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and timely imaging to support radiologist diagnoses. Serve as clinical and technical lead, train and supervise entry-level staff, coordinate care across departments, ensure equipment readiness and quality control, and maintain compliance with safety and Joint Commission standards. Provide clear patient instructions, lead daily operations, and support ongoing education for technologists; demonstrate leadership in scheduling, room assignments, and interdepartmental collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiology or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
- Five (5) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Basic Life Support Certification
