Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of tissues, organs, and pathology for physician diagnosis. Direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning patients, preparing for exams, and monitoring vital signs. Maintain equipment operational status, summarize findings, document measurements, and ensure HIPAA-compliant record-keeping. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular. Full-time day shift role at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
