Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of internal tissues for diagnosing conditions like heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct patient care by assessing cooperation, positioning equipment, monitoring vital signs, and intervening for complications. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students while maintaining equipment, verifying operational status, and preparing rooms for subsequent procedures. Summarize, document, and present findings to physicians; maintain accurate billing records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Work full-time day shifts at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
