Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures to diagnose and monitor conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Produce images of internal body tissues, summarize findings, and present them to physicians. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students while maintaining equipment and verifying its operational status. Provide direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning patients, and monitoring vital signs. Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA. Prepare rooms and patients for subsequent procedures. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
