Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of internal tissues for diagnosing conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct patient care by assessing condition, positioning equipment, and monitoring vital signs while intervening for complications. Summarize, document, and present findings to physicians; maintain accurate billing records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Verify equipment operational status daily and maintain the ultrasound suite. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. This role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations

- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
