Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of tissues, organs, vessels, and pathology for physician diagnosis. Direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning equipment, preparing patients, and monitoring vital signs. Summarize, document, and present findings while maintaining accurate billing records and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Maintain equipment by verifying operational status daily and performing routine maintenance. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular. Full-time day shift in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
