Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of internal tissues for diagnosing conditions like heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct patients, position equipment, and monitor vital signs while assessing reactions to complications. Summarize findings, document measurements, and present results to physicians. Maintain equipment, verify operational status, and ensure accurate billing and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification and a Bachelor's degree in radiological technology. Full-time day shift in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
