Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures to diagnose and monitor conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct high-frequency sound waves to capture images of tissues, organs, and pathology, then summarize findings for physicians. Provide direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning patients, monitoring vital signs, and intervening for complications. Maintain equipment, verify operational status, and ensure accurate billing and HIPAA-compliant records. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular; Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time day shift in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
