Job Summary
Direct high-frequency sound waves to prescribed areas to capture quality images of tissues, organs, vessels, and pathology for diagnoses. Summarize, document, verify, and present findings to physicians while providing direct patient care, including positioning patients and monitoring vital signs. Maintain accurate records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and verify equipment operational status prior to daily utilization. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
