Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of tissues, organs, and pathology for physician diagnosis. Position patients, monitor vital signs, and provide direct care while assessing reactions to complications. Summarize findings, document measurements, and present results to medical staff. Maintain equipment, verify operational status, and ensure accurate billing and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular. Full-time day shift in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
