Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures to produce images of internal body tissues for diagnosing conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct high-frequency sound waves to prescribed areas, summarize findings for physicians, and provide direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning equipment, and monitoring vital signs. Maintain equipment operational status, prepare rooms and patients for subsequent procedures, and ensure accurate documentation while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
