Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of internal tissues for diagnosing conditions like heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning equipment, preparing patients, and monitoring vital signs while identifying complications. Summarize, document, and present findings to physicians; maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Verify equipment operational status daily and maintain devices. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Full-time day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
