Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures to produce images of internal body tissues for diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct high-frequency sound waves to prescribed areas, summarize findings, and present images to physicians while maintaining accurate records and billing information. Provide direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning patients, and monitoring vital signs. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students, maintain equipment, and verify operational status prior to daily utilization. Adhere to accepted protocols, precautions, and HIPAA guidelines. Full-time day shift; Bachelor's degree preferred with required ARDMS or CCI certification. Located in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
