Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures to produce images of internal body tissues for diagnosing conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Direct high-frequency sound waves to prescribed areas, capture quality images, and summarize findings for physicians. Provide direct patient care by assessing conditions, positioning patients, and monitoring vital signs. Maintain equipment operational status, verify room readiness, and ensure accurate documentation while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
