Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of internal tissues for diagnosing conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Summarize, document, and present findings to physicians while providing direct patient care, including positioning, preparation, and vital sign monitoring. Maintain equipment, verify operational status, and ensure accurate billing and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular; Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
