Job Summary
Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture tissue images for diagnosing conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Summarize, document, and present findings to physicians while providing direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring and positioning patients for exams. Maintain equipment operational status, verify room readiness, and ensure accurate billing and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping. Supervise and mentor ultrasound students. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, Obstetrics, or Vascular. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
