Job Summary
Perform and supervise daily modality operations, maintaining accreditation standards while advocating for imaging services through technology updates. Execute 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions, including leadership of personnel and operation of ultrasound equipment and devices. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accreditations standards. Requires ARDMS registration, RVS certification in at least two specialties, and three years of technical experience. BLS certification and evidence of critical problem-solving skills are essential. Based at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- 3-years of technical experience
- ARDMS registered and/or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) in at least 2 specialties
- BLS Certified
- Evidence of leadership
