Job Summary
Lead and support a preschool or daycare classroom for ages 2 to 5, implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® while creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Build strong relationships with children and families, collaborate with staff to support enrollment and engagement goals, and ensure the safety, supervision, and development of every child. Manage classroom routines and meet daily needs, including lifting up to 40 pounds. Requires an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a Study Plan toward a Bachelor's degree, plus prior childcare experience. Full-time role with 8 to 5 or 9 to 6 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or on a Study Plan toward a Bachelor's degree
- Prior childcare, and daycare experience
- Strong understanding of early childhood education and development
- Ability to manage classroom routines and meet children's daily needs
- Professional, patient, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Active supervision of children
