Job Summary
Address day-to-day breakdowns and scheduled preventative maintenance for small engines and equipment including concrete cutters, ride-it saws, and coring drills. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on power units, generators, and vehicles while maintaining accurate records and ordering parts. Travel to field sites as needed, including nights and weekends, to respond to urgent requests. Complete work orders with precision, manage inventory, and maintain a clean shop environment. Requires 5 years of small engine experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role in Mesa, Arizona with competitive compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of small engine and equipment trouble shooting and repair experience
- Expertise in small engine mechanics, electrical systems, and fuel systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Own tools to use in the shop
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to maintain data entry and schedules on a PC/tablet
- Ability to follow processes, be self-motivated, and punctual
- Ability to gain and maintain special clearance to sensitive work sites (military bases & airports)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more on occasion
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications or specialized training in small engine repair
- Commercial driver's license
- Bilingual Spanish abilities
