Job Summary
Lead Tree Climber position requiring extensive tree climbing and removal experience, leadership skills, ISA or TCIA certification, and knowledge of ANSI safety standards. Full-time role with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience working on a tree service crew
- ISA or TCIA certification for Tree Climber Specialist (current)
- Extensive knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits, and arboricultural techniques
- Understanding of ANSI Z133.1 safety standards for tree care operations
- Advanced experience with rigging to lower large branches and trunk sections safely
- Experience working with crane operators for complex tree removals
- Valid drivers license and ability to be insured by the companys vehicle insurance policy
- Experience driving and backing up trailers
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with crew members and crane operators
