Job Summary
Lead Urban Transportation Planning Expert to lead mobility planning initiatives for Smart Cities, urban infrastructure projects, townships, and municipal development programs. Responsible for developing sustainable, efficient, and integrated mobility solutions, including non-motorized transport, public transportation, and multimodal integration. Key duties include preparing urban transportation and mobility plans, conducting traffic studies and travel demand analysis, developing TOD strategies, designing NMT infrastructure (pedestrian and cycling networks), coordinating with government agencies and stakeholders, preparing DPRs and feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with national and state urban transport policies. Requires expertise in GIS, transportation modelling, parking management, and mobility planning, with 10+ years of relevant experience. Kannada speaking preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Post Graduate Degree in Transport Planning, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering (Transportation), or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Urban Transportation Planning and Mobility Management.
- Experience in Smart City, township, industrial park, municipal, or urban infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in NMT planning, TOD, parking management, and public transportation systems.
- Experience in transportation modelling, traffic impact assessment, and mobility planning.
- Experience in preparing planning and design guidelines for urban transportation projects.
- Kannada Speaking Preferred
